Day of Infamy represents World War II events from the first-person view. Only you, your gun, and your teammates are there to confront the enemy. There is a wide range of weapons, including the Thompson submachine guns, various rifles, and even flamethrowers. All of these were designed with historical accuracy in mind. The special feature of the game deals with tactics. It is possible to raid enemy frontline and log pillboxes all by yourself with some success, but it is useful to attack as a coordinated team. The in-game VOIP feature allows us to communicate with each other and come up with a strategy. Beware being intercepted by opposing forces during that though: the line isn't secure and can be audible by foemen. Another way to use the radio is to call for fire support or supply drops. The modding community is fruitful and presents lots of custom maps, sound packs as well as character and weapon skins. These are available for download via the Steam Workshops. All in all, Day of Infamy is a fast-paced, co-op FPS that delivers an unforgettable experience to every fan of the genre.
